Frequently Asked Questions
“How do I start therapy when I Barely have time to breathe?”
You’re already carrying so much. Getting started shouldn’t feel heavy. All you have to do is reach out. I’ll walk you through the next steps and we’ll move at a pace that respects the life you’re living.
“What if I don’t know what to say?”
That’s completely okay. You don’t need to come in with a plan. You can show up exactly as you are — tired, overwhelmed, unsure — and I’ll help guide us from there.
“Is therapy just one more thing I’ll feel guilty for not doing Right?”
Not here. Therapy isn’t something to perform or get right. It’s a space where you can finally stop pretending and let yourself be human.
“Is it okay if I’m kind of a mess?”
Yes. Truly. You don’t need to pull yourself together before you walk in. This is a space where the hard parts are allowed.
“Do you take insurance?”
Yes. There is even a tab on this website to look up if I accept your plan and book a session on the appropriate platform. Click here.
“Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?”
Both. If you want a calm, cozy, grounding space away from everything, we can meet in person. If getting out of the house feels impossible, virtual sessions are available too.
“How soon can I start?”
Usually within the next week, if you want to start soon. Once you reach out, I’ll let you know what openings I have and we’ll find something that fits your schedule.
“Do I have to commit to long-term therapy?”
No. You choose what feels right. Some people come short-term for support through a rough season. Others stay longer because it becomes the one place they can finally breathe freely, the choice is up to you.
“Can therapy actually help with the loneliness, the decision fatigue, the hopelessness?”
Yes. Having a space where you don’t have to hold everything in — even for one hour a week — can make a real difference. You don’t have to carry it by yourself anymore.
“Will you understand what it’s like to be overwhelmed all the time?”
I will. And you won’t be asked to downplay it or push through it. This is a space where your experience is taken seriously, and where you get to feel supported — not judged.
