About Your Therapist
I’m not here to fix you.
I’m here to walk with you.
Life gets heavy in ways most people never talk about.
You might be carrying grief, guilt, numbness, or a sadness that lingers no matter how much you love your family or how hard you try to hold everything together. Maybe you keep showing up for everyone else while quietly wondering when someone will notice how much you’re hurting, too.
I know what it’s like to feel like you should be okay… and still feel empty, overwhelmed, or lost inside.
And I also know it’s possible to find your way back — slowly, gently, one honest moment at a time.
My work isn’t about pushing you to “get better.”
It’s about creating a space where you can finally stop pretending, settle into what’s real, and begin healing from the inside out.
How I Work
When we work together, we go at your pace — not society’s, not your family’s, not the part of you that thinks you should “just snap out of it.”
I meet you exactly where you are, even if where you are feels dark, heavy, or messy.
Here’s what our work often includes:
CBT — Making Sense of the Thoughts That Hurt the Most
We start by gently noticing the thoughts that pull you under:
“I’m failing…,” “I should be happier…,” “Something is wrong with me.”
CBT helps us slow them down and understand the stories your mind has been repeating for years. Not to judge them — but to see where they came from and why they feel so true.
You don’t have to “think positive.”
We’re simply learning to think truthfully — in a way that stops adding more weight to what you already carry.
DBT — Helping You Stay Steady When Emotions Feel Too Big or Too Numb
Once we understand the mental loops, we work on what’s happening underneath.
DBT gives us practical, real-life tools to help you stay grounded when emotions rush in or when you feel completely shut down.
Together, we’ll:
Build emotional regulation skills
Learn how to respond instead of react
Strengthen your ability to stay present during stress
Create space between you and the overwhelm
This is where you begin to feel a little more in control of your inner world.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy — Reconnecting With Yourself
As you regain stability, we shift into something deeper: reconnecting with yourself.
Through mindful self-compassion, breath work, and slowing way down, we begin to explore:
What your body has been holding
How to be present without feeling overwhelmed
How to feel moments of peace again — even small ones
How to soften the self-criticism that’s been running the show
This is where many moms begin to say,
“For the first time in a long time… I feel like myself again.”
Who I Work Best With
I’m the right therapist for you if:
✔ You’re a parent who feels overwhelmed, numb, or disconnected
✔ You’ve tried to “push through” but nothing helps for long
✔ You’re carrying guilt, shame, or a quiet heaviness you don’t talk about
✔ You want a safe space where you don’t have to be “strong”
✔ You’re open to exploring your emotions without rushing the process
✔ You want a therapist who is deeply present, grounded, and human
✔ You want someone who can sit with your pain without trying to force a silver lining
If you’re longing to feel alive again — even if you’re scared to hope — you’ll feel held, seen, and supported here.
A Final Word From Me
This work matters to me because every single person deserves a place where they can fall apart without fear, without shame, without feeling like they’re burdening someone.
You don’t have to pretend here.
You don’t have to hold it all together.
You don’t have to be “strong.”
You can come exactly as you are.
Messy. Tired. Numb. Sad. Unsure.
Hopeful. Hopeless. Somewhere in between.
Whatever you’re carrying — we’ll hold it together.
And together, we’ll find your way back to yourself.
